PR-1 Tool Block | Service & Install

Tools Needed

  • Isopropyl
  • Q-tips or small brusch
  • Hex or screw driver to remove the brake pad bolt
  • Plastic lever or special brake service tool

 

Service Steps

  1. Remove the wheel
  2. Disassemble the pads
  3. Clean the pistons before pushing them back to prevent dirt from getting into the piston seals
  4. Push all pistons to the back using a plastic lever or special service tool
  5. Insert the Bleed Block PR-1 and secure with bolt
  6. Push the brake lever and realease the stuck piston
  7. Remove the block, clean the released piston and proced with all other pistons as well
  8. Assemble the pads on the caliper
  9. Fit the wheel onto the frame/fork
